Completed........ "Oh, I do like to be beside the seaside." Kent Coast July 1940.

This is the excellent Me109 Airfix 'Starter kit'.

I'm not all that interested in the accuracy of kits. I just build what's in the box and enjoy myself. The paint job is not of a particular aircraft. To add a bit of colour, I just fancied giving it a yellow nose and rudder.

    Brush painted
I used the supplied paints and glue.
The base is a lump of polystyrene sprinkled with red sand and rubble.
The 'water' is a clear plastic lid from a food container.
The tidal surge is clear silicone flicked about with an old nail.
Photos taken in different light with my usual point and click method ( I wouldn't know any other way!) :upside:

That's it really. A relatively quick, enjoyable and no fuss build.

Thanks again for all the nice comments during the build.

I hope you like the end result.......

Stunning Ron, incredible vision , perfectly composed and beautifully photographed. Love it , in fact its inspiring me ! What I want to know though is where the pilot went , i suspect hes made off on Tony the donkey , galloping into the sunset .

Beautifully done, and it didn't even need to be chucked. The undercarriage underwater was genius.

Strength isn't about what you can do, rather it's about overcoming what you thought you couldn't do.
