CRASH Completed - 'Ditched & in trouble'

Here we go, all finished and looking very wet (well, he will be). If i do this again (no if about it) i'll not seal the base with Klear, thats why it's gone a little white.

I've made a story to go with this too.

We'd been in the air for about 45 minutes on a routine patrol, from Biggin Hill to Ramsgate then onto Eastbourne. We was just near Hastings when i seen something flying low over the channel, the flight leader came over the radio and said "fly for them but stay above as we have the sun at our backs". Great, this will be the first time i'll fire the guns in anger. An Heinkel was trying to get home but we had different ideas, we was hoping he didn't spot us but the sun did it's job. We got above him and i started the dive but in my eagerness i pushed the stick forward and the engine cut out, at the same time i heard the instructor in my head saying "you have to roll first then dive or you'll starve the carb of fuel". Well, looks like i have a bit of a swim then some questions to answer.

    Have fun, John

PS, if i've put this in the wrong place can someone sort it please.
