    Yep...another fisherman dio.

    At the moment I am into my fisherman dio's.

    So, having sourced some larger figures (cheap), actually, bit of a cheat here as they're already painted-however, once I got them I realised that they needed some highlights and a touch-up here and there.

    This is a larger scale dio, plinth made, real wood planks and the jetty frame stanchions, that the guy is sitting on are an old broom handle, drilled and dowelled into place. All sanded, shaped and worn, primed and ready to paint. This is a far as I have got so far, you may have noticed no water/sea effects on this one, thought it might be different.

    It is going to have a box of fish and then the usual rope effect.

    I like it!! The soil is perfect, and give you a lot of possibilities of weathering!!

    Then....just have fun!

    What about another of your nice fisherman nets?!

      Here are a couple of more piccies with base painted and detailed, rope added and the boxes of fish. Still some weathering and washes to do, plus varnish the plinth but 80% finished.

        Ah, now, hang on a mo young Polux... the net is to be used in another dio with a different fisherman. Fish for this olรฉ salty seadog.
