    F-15E Pre show prep

Here is my Dio of the Revell F-15E prepping for display.I started with the aircraft then the base wich is made from MDF with painted wet and dry cut into sections. The ground equipment and figures come from both Hasegawa and Esci boxes. The platform was built from scratch with wire and styrene. I wanted this dio to look very busy With people going about there jobs On the whole I think I have managed it.

Top work, love the guys face, he looks soooooooooooo sour. The placing of the models is great, gives a great sense of military order but quick, getting on with it no messing. Like it very much Terry.

I've got a similar "crew is hard at work around the airfield" set up going on. (or I will pretty soon). Except mine is stuck in the 1944-45 era. I don't know what's wrong with me but for some reason, I have little to no interest in modern day aircraft or crews. I used to. Years ago. Now it's all war history. Can't explain it.

Nice work you did though, the crew looks sufficiently busy...

Thanks Ian I think I got it just right with the amount of activity around the aircraft

Terry, this has finsihed nicely mate. Just enough going on without detracting too much from your superb Eagle. Great build.

Quite often less is more .... Sometimes though it pays to fill it up with detail, depends on the subject matter.

In this case I think overloading the detail would make it look messy.

I thought I'd commented on this but it was your ladder thingy on another thread ..ooops.

                        Nice job !
