I dispensed with the Dragon figures and used the excellent ones from Master Box....The long standing members will recognise them from my Iwo Jima model. Cheating perhaps, but I had lost the will to live after putting together just one Dragon marine.

I have added a watercolour back ground to give a bit of depth to the composition and make it look like a small built up area with small alley ways.

I have taken the pictures in B&W, I think this gives a better 'Period atmosphere'.

You will notice the absence of gun straps.....Whilst reading about the Pacific Theatre, I came across a bit about some American units dispensing with these, as they kept getting caught up in the foliage...So I left them off too, less work!

Anyway, I hope you approve, and as always, all comments and suggestions received with a smile......

    Cheers,

    Ron

For some reason the pictures have appeared before the words...sorry!

Outstanding work Ron, a superb dio with great atmosphere, the B&W also adds to the suspense.

        Another excellent piece Ron!

I can appreciate why you've done B&W pics but please could we have some colours so we can see this 'in the flesh' as it were?

Fantastic Ron and the B&W option really give it that period feel , still I would love to see it in colour so I could see more of the detail

Superb work Ron. You have captured the essence of this battle in your diorama well.

Steady Ron! Tunnock bars weren't on my original list and I thought you'd decided on Lemon slices instead of Eccles cakes!
