    Model Scene Grass Mats for Dioramas; Still Water

    I have just discovered some astonishingly lifelike grass mats for dioramas:

    14 Euros each, several types.

    They are flexible and the bits don't fall off. I expect you could join two together by cutting a curved join line round the tufts. I reckon making convincing grassy-ness from scratch is very difficult. (I haven't bought any, just looked.)

    I also discovered a tutorial on making still water (like for a canal or a pond) using Vallejo "Still Water":

            I have one of those I got it at telford and it looks great but at £15 a through its cheeper to make one
