I thought how interesting can a cracked road be...... But 60 replys made me curious...... Wow, a lot of information, ...... But gotta admit, i like the look of your crack..... And the fence is brilliant.

I dont know if Ive come into this too late, or if my comments will be of any use to you, but Ive learnt two techniques for doing cracks

The first uses a product from the citidel range called

Its from their technical range and you paint it on quite thick and it dries all cracked. No idea about the science about it. Its acrylic and 100% non toxic and water based.

Have a look and see if its useful

Haha, just re-read my post and noticed that I missed out the secondly

This method uses egg shells. The video is for a lava base, but its easily adapted. However, it looks a LOT harder if you are doing organised cracks.

I've pretty much finished the roadblock ............... I still have to give the green & white barrier a little bit of a "wear and tear" look but that'll come after I put the Decal on .......... a very nice chap in Sicily is making me one. So for now I'm going to put this aside and start on the models & figures for it.

Nice bit of el scratcho' going on Peter San....

Excellent weathering on the oil drums too.

Couldn't help noticing the fence boards as well!
