Hi guys, here I teach a very special dio to you for my, since this one was the first one that I did. It is Tamiya's kit: the Land Rover SAS Pink Panther to scale 1/35 (the classic one). During this time I have learned some tricks and technologies, but I don't think to modify it. My intention was to place it somewhere rocky of the deserts, to give more volume to the set and not to put figures in action.

Nowadays I am modifying one it gave of a Rover 7 ambulance (Tamiya 1/35), changing some texture and putting more details.

I expect to make photos prompt in order that you help me with your comments.

Lovely job with a classic old kit. This still makes into a superb model and can hold it's own against the newer stuff. Great weathering techniques with some nicely done fading and washes. The dirt also looks very realistic, particularly on the tyres. Just one thing I would suggest, as washes enhance detail they can also work against you. The wash has actually enhanced the seam that you didn't remove from the end of the smoke canisters so it stands out more! It's always worth removing all seams before painting so that washes only pick out the detail you want to show.

You have the whole reason Bunkerbarge, it is not a very thin work. Before, for my to mount a model was " to cut and to stick ". Ejem I see in a magazine photos of this model done by a "professional", ohhh that differs!! I have to learn of my mistakes and am very satisfied to have found this forum, I like much his good environment and the interesting thing that is (I am not in any spanish forum), though the language is a barrier to understand some things. Ok, I promise to work hard to create my second dio, of 1 star, it is necessary to go stepwise. To allow me to ask if the soil is correct, do I go in the good direction?ThanksRegards

As Bunkerbarge (Richard) pointed out there are a few seams that have been missed but overall its very good. The rocky landscape is very well done and the stony soil quite right for such a rocky place.

As a first attempt it is very good. Do not be afraid to ask for help We are here to help each other.
