    Please don't laugh...

right I have a base for my diorama. Want to add a bit of terrain.... one thing I have lots of in my house is play-doh (I have a 2 year old)

I know play doh turns rock solid once it's been left out of the tub, could I use this to create the mud/rocks? Do we think it would work would it paint ok?

Sounds OK to me. Once you've got the general shape you want, you could take a piece of broken brick and press it gently into the dough to create a stone texture.
