Ttanks for all for all the nice comments guys is is always a very uplifting experience - cheers
As I lack any sense of continuous work flow :tongue-out: , do expect thee odd ruin -related post- Intertwined with armor suff, going forward as a big benchmark would be fixing the ruin to the base but for that to happen I need to finish the floors completely :smiling:

So, I promised a slight topical detour so lets talk about the armor in this dio : The Regime BMP 2:
it has been nearly 5(sic) years since I took this kit out the last time. I will be using parts of an old post I did - the original can be found Right here.
      Quarter master's list:
Fruil tracks - I just can't stand vinyl
Panzer art roadwheels - details on the kit vers are indistinkt but oh my - more on this Faithfull decision below.....,
Miniarm bmp 2 correct set for commander's cupola - crispier details on ir lights etc.
      Et models PE - details
SARAB 2 active protection systems from AGV model (I completely messed up building one myself ) becoming more prevalent on MBT, AFVs and even Technicals around the period the dio takes place (2013).
Scratched impro - armor on sides. same as above but will prob have been added a a first go - to solution for the crew to give some (mostly moral) support against the growing threat of ATGMs from the rebs.

      Using Miniarm replacement parts
Miniarm parts are in light pink

Additional details will be addede - lead thread for wirering

      Zeh Panzer Art wheels....
2019: Panzer art roadwheels need to be drilled out to fit the axels i do not have a proper sized drill for the job and the results are less than perfect as the wheels will be on level pavement they need to be flush ....and yes, i managed to drill all the way through the hub cab.

2024: Well, what was "less than perfect" in 2019 by 2024 standards simply did not pass muster when I revisited the kit. I tried to break the wheels of but broke only bogie axels....
To make a long story short I bought a new kit to use as a donor kit for the hull and wheels - the remainder will be used as part of knocked out vehicle in a Ukraine conflict dio on the bench after this...
Rather than show you the assembly of the lower hull using the kit roadwheels, the following posts will be dealing with finishing the roof of the hull.
      till then
Thanks for looking and stay safe

            hello Gents

time for a much belated update

            The Bmp:

Finally done with the suspension and the bits anbob therein along with the Roadwheels , next comes part of the interior .
as a center scene in the dio is the Driver with his head out the hatch , discussing map details with the dismounted commander, I will have to include some details around him :steering wheel (the BMP II uses no tillars), instrumentation and seat and separating wall to the engine room.
As one of the back doors will be slightly open a small part of the interior will also have to be added to the back area of the the thing, qturret was four years ago and is still pretty much done save some wiring for the SARAB II IR dazzler. Upper hull is missing som small bits and bobs I have ordered some update set for adding some more details to the mounting brackets for the pioneer tools but thats for another post.

            The Ruin:

I am working on the Kitchen adejcent to the restaurent at strret level adding piping and sink some of the piping is evergreen and some from a kit I found once onlins with piping cast in white metal - hence they bent easily the Fall Stem and piping from the sink are form that kit.

The Royal Model electrical fittings set has some mounting backets ment for wiring but they wok well for brackets for piping

                      Greetings lads
I have managed to do some work on the interior of the building here the sink in the restaurant kitchen - to further support the narrative about the restaurant a stove will be added amongst the rubble

Fall stem for the appartement bathroom above the restaurant is done and need to be mounted - I have kept the weathering to a minimum as more care of the interior supposedly would be taken in an residence than in a working area

Steven, send me the contact to your tiling contractor...he's done a pretty good job and want something done to mine as well.
                          Very fine work there.

It could be just me, but when I open the thumbnail images in the early posts, all I can get is a thumbnail sized image on my screen. That's nowhere near big enough to see all the marvellous detail you're putting in.

Is there any way I can enlarge those thumbnails?
