Airfix Flaws in it's Dioramas

Airfix has been decieving us for quite a long time with their dioramas.

In the WW 2 Battle of Britain Airfield set their Bedford QL has a wrong scheme for their BoB set and in the BoB their refuellers were actually just a blue not a yellow top and blue. Instead to make the scheme right if you have made this mistake, just cover this with Humbrol paint. The Bedford QL wasn't even in use in the Battle of Britain- it came into use early '43 for the Bombers! Its amazing no-one has spoken up yet to airfix.......

Especially when you consider how long this particular model has been in production. Probably a degree of poetic licence although from what I remember this was produced as an RAF set from the start but not necessarily a BoB set so possibly that was when the inaccuracy crept in.

All as a result of cashing in on the BoB anniversary celebrations and simply not worth retooling the model itself for those as discerning as yourself. Drop them a line and see what they have to say.

I thought about dropping them a line but what would they care? They wouldn't change it unless the set got unpopular because of that- as long as they are making money they wouldn't care.
