Today so far I have added a bit more grass I am thinking maybe it would look good with a small amount of scatter grass as well What do you guys n girls reckon? Would it be to much or add to the whole scene? The pictures I have seen as reference do show there is quite a bit of vegitation around AMARC.

The aircraft is all but painted with the white coat applied where applicable on the underside. They seem to put this coating on with no set pattern wether they do it differently for different Mk's of the aircraft I am not sure. I have taken several pictures in to account and done what I think looks about right. In some of the photos I have viewed it appears the quality and neatness of the coating varies also. With this in mind I haven't bothered to much with neatness or quality of layer.

Nice work Terry. Looking like a mothballed aeroplane every time I check back. The stuff they apply to the airframes is a spray on latex.

The tufts of grass look perfect Terry. You're doing a great job on this one.

Over the last couple of days I have started the weathering and adding the undercarriage bits that will be attached. The tail and any grey bits on the aircraft have been sprayed with Flory's light. The wheels have been treated with Flory's brown and rust and still need a bit of light pastel work to get them where I want. Panel lines etc still need picking out where relevant All comments/suggestions as always are welcome.

Thanks Joe the undercarriage bays are going to be lightened as I feel they are a bit heavy.

This afternoon I have done a bit more weathering work on the drop tanks the wheels and started weathering the pylons. The undercarriage bays have been cleaned up a bit as I felt the weathering was a bit heavy.

I have also made a pallet from stirrers and styrene this was preshaded with Flory's grime then given a very thin coat of Tamiya buff. The planks on top of the pallet sill need scoring to make them look smaller.
As always all comments are welcome.

Effective weathering Terry. I like that pallet.
