Looks good mate, nicely done, great weathering. Think you may have just found your Forté.

Thanks mate I appreciate that , I must say I'm better at vehicles than aircraft , put the decals on it now but I need to scuff them up a bit so they fit with the tank they look too new lol

I also have to somehow put a base in the tank so I can put the commander in it

That's looking nice Alan, and you've got the tracks on right!

This is how NOT to do it

Patrick I did do that but Jason pointed it out and I was able to change it

Must admit I like yours even if it only does go around in circles Nice weathering and I like that scratch effect you've got , I've tried to do that a few times and it's never really worked for me but I'm a hairy stick chap so that's probably why

Nice weathered looking tank Alan. Not having done much Armor I would be putting all kinds of bits on the wrong way,I could see how easy of a mistake that would be. Looking forward to seeing the next update!

trey this was a test for me tbh and I had no idea how it was going to turn out and it was a big sigh of relief when it worked because if it didn't it could have been turned into a burned out wreck

Decals are now on and I've scuffed them up to suit the vehicle better now the more knowledgeable Amongst you might pick me up on the decal positioning of sum but that was a case of the decal placement in the kit , they only showed one side of the tank and it was in Japanese so I had to research it and I found no two kits of this were the same so I just looked at the box lid

Wow Alan!!! You go very fast mate

Clean and tidy. The colour is very nice and the weathering is magnificent.

He is waiting for a sandy diorama

Thank you Polux that is praise indeed from yourself , it's a shame the tank commander is not of equal quality to the tank there's no crisp detail to him and that makes painting him difficult

I think I will forgets this figure and have the hatch closed

I wouldn't worry about the decals Alan, what's important is that you've got a terrific Panzer II there.

At least yours are straight - I had a wonky one on the back!

                          Thanks Patrick I appreciate that

Now I've started the base , just used some polystyrene for a rock outcrop ans some fine ballast for an uneven sand bed , whilst wet I pushed the tank into the surface to get the track marks ,

Next up is some baking soda to soften the surface

Ok now I've softened the surface I will leave this to dry completely then see how it settles back sometimes it needs a little touch up but I think this will be ok

This method is very good foe snow scenes

Looks good Alan, I like how you've got the groundwork colours similar to that of the Panzer
