Bit of progress, just basic colour's on for now, I broke my airbrush but thanks to Patrick's advice it wasn't fatal. Ordered my new part from John so as soon as that arrives I can continue.

Lots to do on it to make it look field worn, oh and a thank you to Dave for the lace to make a net.

Nice start Adrian - and I'm sure the lace is to make a camo net

Is the frame of the wheel base painted with a camo pattern as well as the main gun mount?

Yes both would have a camo pattern.

Looks like a very interesting kit Adrian , I'll be watching as I want to do an artillery piece for next years GB. Only thing that bothers me though is the box art , whats the bloke at the back doing with the didgeridoo? cheers tony

One thing that you can do Adrian, I think Patrick also uses this technique, is to use a pencil to highlight rub sections, like on box edges, breach etc, wheel nuts etc, gives a nice dull edge yet looks metallic in certain light.

That is a range finder Tony. Sort of ultra wide binos that have adjustable prisms or mirrors in the ends, when the target focuses as one item, you can read off the range.

Managed to get some camo done, need to do some chipping then add some mud. The hard parts going to be the figures for me as I don't like painting them
