The rust effect on the Hanomag is awesome Terry! You've got the colour just right.

    And that barn! Holy moly!

      Looking good!

All you need in addition is the duo from "American Pickers", in scale naturally?

      Please, do continue....

Thanks for the kind comments guys the rust effect I am really chuffed with as it is the first time I have attempted to do anything like it. As for the flat tyres I some times use that method on aircraft builds to give the weighted look rather than buying after market ones. Tony the stirrers have been acquired over time from various sources but this week I have taken the plunge and purchased a box of 1000 it works out cheaper than the coffee outlets in the long run. the rust holes were created with the dremmel sanding tool this needs to be done from under the vehicle as it causes a bit of damage. That is unless you want to use filler afterwards but then I feel you would lose the effect somewhat.

Over the last couple of days I have added the road wheels to the Hanomag and a couple of stowage bins inside. The front wheels are only dry fitted as I have an idea for around that area.

The jeep seat backs and steering wheel are also dry fitted for now.

The barn has had a good coat of Flory's grime added straight over the wood and I am almost tempted to give give the outside an even heavier coat as it looks quite natural.

What exactly is it and where can I get some?o_O

                                Here is tonight's installment

Yesterday I added some filler around the outside and stuck some prepainted wet and dry inside for the floor.

Tonight I painted the filler with an earth colour and done the outside with Flory's grime and dark dirt. I have also sprayed the floor of the barn with the grime as well althought the camera makes everythng look a bit lighter in colour.
