Well here we go on another build I am going to try another technique that I have never used on this one. I am going to have the 88 being retrieved from a river after it has rolled over while entering to cross. Or at least I am going to try anyway. I am still waiting for one of the key components to turn up but will get on with what I can. So far I have cut the board and put an edging around it to give a little height to the ground (pictures to follow later).

Yesterday I undercoated most of the 88 parts on the sprues to give me an idea about any problematic areas. I think there is going to be a lot of rubbing down to be done. I also got the D7 on opening the box it looks pretty straight forward that is until yo try to prime it. What a cracking idea, something away from the norm.
It'll make a great diorama.
I have the 1/35 Tamiya 88mm and have just looked in the box....I didn't realise there were so many pieces in the kit!Comment
