    Totsugeki,Till Death before dishonour

As well don't get alot of Japanese, and US builds,

I have been wanting to do this for some time, but always get sidetracked,

totsugeki,is around about work in English for charge or attack,so this

little Dio,is the last stand of the Japanese,s at the battle of Tarawa, against the US,

and there not going out without a fight

    hope you like the idea,

    will contain horror,

using the 4 kits show which are 1.35

made a start on the base with it shelled and a Japanese,s pill box up in the corner,

                      ta Peter,glad your liking it,

                      I hope this help,s a bit Amos,

once i have the base down,i will use 50/50 PVA glue and water and mix in the 1st color, being burnt sienna,so its a thing coat,

when its still wet i brush in the burnt umber,in the places i think will be deeper, like a shell hole,or a ridge line or a low spot,

just by eye real, were the top soils has been removed,

and once that has all dryed,do a lite coat of a yellow, with a mix of PVA glue,50/50 mixed with water and let dry before moving

on the putting down the sand, soil,or what ever ,as this is sandly i used yellow,if it was grass i would use a green base color

well manage to get some time in on this one,

have most of the base done, put in the log work around the pillbox and trench,

still need to add sandbags to the top of it,cannot get to the art shop till,Sunday, ohhhhhhhhhhhh ops:

need to add rubble, and vegetation as well, which is some of it in the first pic,

and make up some palm tree,s the trucks i have a good idea for,

but the leaves ,well two or three, ideas on them, maybe out of paper cut like them,or maybe chicken feathers, ???

still need to paint in and add wire to the pillbox,

and have the figures undercoated,so still alot of work,to go

                          hope your enjoying this one,

                          any comments most welcome,
