    Scotties Italian scene

Something I haven't made for ages is a base so to rectify that I have decided to make a base for the recently finished Humber build. It is based on a picture I found on the web.
Nothing is glued yet bur pinned together to see how it looks.

This is really looking good Scottie. Already had the feeling it was going to be in your first post and picture. I've always wondered how to tell its Italian...large Salami's hung at the window?...the crew stopping for Spaghetti? ...Clint Eastwood riding by??

    Cheers,
    Wabble

Cheers Richard, it's good to see you. I'm not sure either to be honest it is based on a picture I found on the web of "Italian buildings" but I guess I will add some Italian posters

The building is coming on slowly. I have been adding some windows and doors the door furniture is made from pewter sheet and copper wire. The shutters are modified Miniart. Cut one ,to fit the windows and secondly to represent some shutters that appear on my reference pictures. All the pieces are removable to enable me to paint them later.

All the parts are just pinned together at the moment so not 100% in the right place.

Next the hard bit I have to try and make a banister to go up the stairs and along the walkway.

        cheers

Already looking superb Scottie. Your attention to detail already shows.
Are you going to seal the foam before painting? I have found that acrylic paint tends to soak in and almost fade away.
