Rear doors and upper hull

I had to tape the front it huge gaps like labours polices

if you leave some brush strokes on the surface it makes it possible to do some very realistic looking chipping

I've just made a cage for some Jerry cans , I tried to make it and then add the Jerry cans but I couldn't get the fit properly so I made the cage around the Jerry cans

Your really making excellent progress in this project Alan, lots of depth to it and realism with west your doing to give it authentic appeal. Like the base plate wethering you have achieved as lots of ingress etc from the outside would crate wear and tear on paintwork and mud etc would gather internally

        Well done

            I've added some stowage

and funnily enough on a rummage in the bits box I found a single length of a hanomag track , I don't know where it came from but I cut some pieces up and stuck them to the front as makeshift armour , they should be the other way around but there was no detail so I put them on the other way

Cracking work there Alan bad I like the use of armour and only the true critics are going to pick you up on this minor error as I never saw it.

Like the use of spare kit pieces used internally and externally.

Good use of paints and desert colours

                      Regards

most of the spare pieces are American and British but the Germans would have captured enemy equipment and use it especially the Afrika Korps as their supply lines were very stretched and simple things like bags and tarps were usually left behind

The official colour of the German vehicles was a dark yellow but that was only if it was available so they used any light colour they could get their hands on to paint out the standard German grey the vehicles were painted in

This one I've painted in revell Africa brown

I've started the side runner boards

these will be painted and weathered seperatly so I can get full effect of the weathering

Now your just going beyond the perfect here Alan!!!! , a small upgrade but for visual effect on the final scene an important one eh.

im not really bothered about this sort of thing really every other time I've built if it's in the box it goes on but I just thought I could find a better looking one and I did

Could be because it is based on a MG 32 instead. Does look crap though.

                                Nice work mate, excellent job.
