Thanks for your kind words Stuart I think the majority of us struggle with figures and I am certainly no acception. These ones have taken me a week to paint. and I am still not totally happy with them but as they are going to be under cover they will do. (I think).

Today I finished the figures and stuck some of them in position. I am hoping to stick the roof section to the bottom part which should be fun. I am also going to take a look at my camera to see if I can get it working properly but before any of that SWMBO has quite a few jobs for me to do.

Thanks Moni this floor is all but done I just need to add the winch rail to the beams and then the fun will start sticking the top of the barn to the bottom. I hope to have this done in the next couple of days. Then the ground level work starts fitting out the workshop area.Comment

For this update I have stuck the top to the bottom this was done after a bit of a faff with the winch rail. I am now starting on the ground level of the whole scene. This will include what I am going put on the trailer of the Famo. I have a few options some I have seen modeled before and one I haven't.
The one I haven't seen before is a Wirbelwind. I have a Dragon kit of this in the stash and there are a few unknown unit markings available according to the paint scheme chart. Having read a little about the Wirbelwind I understand they were used on the western and eastern fronts and also in small numbers due to availability in other areas of europe. So I am thinking of doing it as one of the unknown units.
If I do not go for this I could use a stug or panzer 111 both of which I have readily available. I also have the option of bringing a tiger to the table as I have a second Famo (without trailer) that is going to be on the dio as well. Which ever way I go I am going to have one of the above in the barn being worked on.
Should anyone have any other ideas I am open to suggestions.

The setting looks very realistic now.
With suggestions, you have quite a few options, my advice would be to go with your gutt! Its your dio, whichever one you feel you like go ahead and do, dont let historical accuracies get in the way of such a fantastic build mate.Comment

Thanks for the very kind words Paul I don't think I am talented there are far better modellers on here than what I put out.Comment

Thanks for your kind words Bob they are very much appreciated and I am glad you like it so far. Thanks also for the input on what I should do with my options I think you are right it shouldn't matter about historical accuracy.Comment

I have made a start on the P111 the first area that got some attention was right side escape hatch. As these are not open on this model I cut the hole to out so as to have the hatch open. I then started putting the axels in place.
I have also started the engine bay removing casting blocks and sanding off any unwanted stubs. Tonight's job will be to paint the engine compartment and start adding bits to the upper half of the tank.
