Hi all next update, started the London taxi, I must say I'm a bit disappointed (not the kit it's good enough) it's just I could have knocked it out in a day easily, it is a VERY simple kit, yes it looks like a London taxi but maybe if it had a full engine or maybe the door handles were separate parts, I don't know what they could have done but it really is a simple kit.The kit is rated skill level 3 personally I think it should be level 1.
Anyway I've also started the Italari phantom 2 rolls royce (I've spent the same amount of time on this so you can see the difference) the taxi only needs the glass and body on half an hour, let dry add decals done in 2 hrs
Hi all well the taxi is finished (definitely not skill level 3 as the instructions suggest) I could easily done it in a day.
I did some more to the roller
Also started a paper model of a classic London Police box (never done a paper model before and it's a strughle)
It's called el string (electro luminescence) string it's about 5 quid for 9 feet and it's powered by 2 aa batteries, you can have it flashing in a patern steady on or just random flashing, I have some in green and red ( comes in various colours and can be bent in a fairly tight bend)
