Test casting.

I have put this here as it is for a dio of sorts, well a large outdoor one

I have started to make some dragons teeth for the 1/16 RC tank course that will be hosted by my RC boat club.

I looked on line and there are many different types of tank traps so I went with the easy option, a straight forward 8.5 cm square pyramid. Scale wise they are not that far off.

The mold started life as a stainless rice mold, I cut the top off-took a while as it is cooking ware grade stainless steel! Greased the inside and mixed and poured some concrete, once it started to go off I added a metal lifting loop.

The figure of my medic shows the scale so they are not a bad match especially against the tanks.

This is the first cast, I have one more cast and one in the mold...I have a lot to make.

somewhere ive got plans to make disposable moulds for casting 1/35 dragons teeth type tank traps out of plaster........if you want it i could email it to you, you would only need to photocopy at 200% to make it roughly 1/16
