Day of the Dead:Walker Horde

While I am waiting for parts to arrive on my other dio I have started a new one :The walker horde.
I am using a mini art warehouse building being surrounded by walkers.
Got a few ideas up my sleeve so fingers crossed and hope you like the idea

Cheers Jack :the miniart kits are great kits and look fab but not easy to do,
Worth it in the long run and can look amazing as they do have great detail .

Yeah I've had one before and found it a bit of a pain to do. Looked ok in the end but like you say was quite tricky. I am making a Stalingrad diorama with mine. Going to add that and a couple of other ruins and have a battle scene. Just doing the figures for it at the moment. Then will work on the scenery. Here are my figures

...and I thought they were the easiest vacuum formed models I've ever built?!

The trick is to use dissolved plastic in Tamiya extra thin as glue because it acts as a filler at the same time and it gives is loads of strength!
When my jars of Tamiya Extra Thin has only 1/3:rd left I put in as many bits of sprue it takes until it becomes a pretty thick liquid of "melted" plastic. It's more or less the only putty I'm using when modelling and for gluing vacuum formed pieces it's a real winner!

I think I've seen some really cool and scary zombie figures over at MAiM if I'm not mistaken? If you're after some custom figures that is?
They're a bit expensive though but they are very detailed.

Good luck with the diorama! I can't wait to see what you will come up with!

That is a very nice figure and you've done a great job with him! Can imagine it's quite fun to paint zombies with all the blood and gore
