Good evening from Race Towers.

Firstly thanks for all the good wishes for Kay, we are going to see her tomorrow, but like all visitors will make it short and sweet .
Now excitement, yes we are nearly there, the Russian contingent are recovering from an oil wash. ..............yes I know.... you all said. I wanted and did try the acrylic ones, but they were so weak it would take numerous coats to achieve any great depth, cap in hand I returned to the oils.


Buried under the bench I found my old box of W & N oil paints, all the ones I bought a couple of months ago were already there.:flushed:.
Of course now being a member of the Tidy Bench Club I found numerous lost items on the floor and under stored rubbish during the massive tidy up . Including the wheels from my Kitten, several helmets, and one Russian sub machine gun, completely painted. [ATTACH]303768[/ATTACH][ATTACH]303769[/ATTACH]
Promised myself to keep the floor clean this time, no promise about the bench though.:nerd:

This afternoon I took the dio outside into the sun, for some photos and to fix the German figures. Much easier to walk around the dio when on a table.
