Thanks Colin, lots more to add. I know what I would like to do but don't always have the skills to do them justice.

The cab is now pretty much finished, I now have to try and not knock everything off again. The air recognition mats were made from foil the frame from etch sprue, pewter and 0.6mm rivets. The Visors had the etch added but I didn't like the flat pivots so cut them off and replaced them with 0.3 copper wire. The sun compass was very basic so a little detail was added the scale was added from evergreen sheet and a length of wire the traversing mechanism from various bits of evergreen. I then added a chain to the filler cap from twisted wire flattened with a pair of smooth pliers. Apologies for the bad photos again.

Had fun at the bench this morning removed all the detail from the front bulkhead as I decided to add a bit of detail. After it had been filed smooth I replaced the solid moulded strengthening spar with some etch sprue. The aerial tensioner was made from copper wire and evergreen sprue as the etch offering was just flat, although the brackets were used. The locker clasps were replaced and finally not sure if you can see it in the pictures a solid tube was replaced with some ally tube.

Thanks mate I enjoyed it probably not 100% correct but I think it looks better than the kit or etch offerings.
