      By the way if i can give u a suggestion try to find a German/Italian jerrycan... the SAS used a lot of cannibalized equipment :smiling::smiling::smiling:

        Already ahead of you mate I have lots to add plus I will be adding a whole lot to the chevy when I get to it.

            On the Chevy you could put a 37mm Cannon Italian "Elefantino" (small elephant) taken from Italians... (the nemesis of the LRGD were the Arditi Camionettisti that used Solothurn 20mm rifle Breda 8mm/7.92mm and the Elefantino 37mm) some LRDG "liberated" those cannon and put them on their vehicles...

                      Have to agree with Greg on the aerial version. Always wondered why not more common. Seems the sleeve would aid in barrel life as the std version would get wonky when continued long bursts were used. PaulE

                            Where? That truck is armed with a Lewis gun by the front passenger’s seat and a Boys antitank rifle in the rear. A Solothurn antitank rifle looks like this:



                            (There were a couple of variants, and I’m not sure off the top of my head which one the Italians used, but they’re all basically the same shape and size.)
