My idea, once upon a time, was to recreate the 1/76 scale Matchbox kit/diorama in 1/35 scale as closely as I could, then display them side by side. Other than buying the Matchbox (well, then and now, Revell) kit and a Tamiya Chevrolet, though I never got beyond starting the former without finishing even that.
Did you see them coming?

Hereโs the back of the box that shows it:

Thereโs more pics on the matchboxkits.org site.
But it you donโt know the kit, itโs probably not a good choice for a dioramaIn my case I want(ed?) to build it because I always liked that kit, due to my general nostalgia concerning Matchbox in general. Lacking that same feeling, Iโd say youโre probably better off looking for another idea.

Paul.
I can offer no ideas really other than a Waddie, a few Palms and the two trucks getting water.
Quite sure what ever you do it will look good.

Scottie, how about ''Midnight at the Oasis'' ? Seriously, a light box affair. That would be a challenge.Comment
