    SLEEPLESS IN STALINGRAD

This is the duality diorama to "Happy Campers". Which will be completed very soon.
I will try to depict in this piece the exact opposite situation at the time for those on the other or sharp end of the stick so to speak.

There will be at least four to six figures, as yet to be determined, they will be pitifully trying to keep from freezing and starving to death
while dreadfully anticipating yet another Soviet attack.

All figures are from the scraps and assorted body parts bin and fiendishly cobbled together in Frankenstienish fashion.
I'll be as curious as you to see what comes of this mess.

Thanks for any kind attention you may pay to this and all comments and ideas are welcome as always.

    Cheers! Jim

Thanks John, am liking these wintery themes, this one will be a real challenge, showing misery and eminent defeat
      can be difficult.

Sorting out and 'creating' particular characteristics from an assorted jumble of body parts is fun but at the same time frustrating.
One day I will break down and buy some specialty figures but until then I will create my own.

                  Hi Jim
Looking forward to this. As you have said showing the misery of war is hard to do. Great start and I'm sure you can pull it off.
                  Jim

I wonder if when you open a box of figures there are screams of "shit we're fucked now":anguished::face-with-head-bandage:.

Thanks Neil, it's going to be frigid and slightly snowy and icy to match conditions of Happy Campers dio.
STUG will have a hastily applied white wash camo and be suitably weathered and battle scarred, should be fun bringing it all together.
                              Something along these lines.

                              Thanks for looking in Jim.:smiling4:
