Good show there Jim. Looks like you have been digging in the garden again. A nice earthy project this has turned into. The effect is astounding and the grimness of war has already seeped into the build...keep the mojo flowing. Cheers, Rick H.

Thank you so much Rick, these things do tend to take on a life of their own after a bit.
Planning on my part is haphazard at best and stuff just seems to happen as in real life somewhat.
Thanks again for your kind words, and garden soil plus a bit of smashed up detritus mixed with white glue, water and black and brown craft paints
mixed to an oatmeal like consistency is great stuff for ground work.

      Jim.

Well Its you alright, :flushed: bit gory but very true to life, something most of us tend to skip I think.
No plan , just let it flow Jim.:smiling2:.

Yeah, I get a general thought, kind of like a flash photo, then stuff just happens.
War is a dirty, nasty, horrible business, and in my own feeble way I try to depict an effect or emotion.
            Sometimes I hit he mark...other times..eh

            Cheers Jim

Looks good to me mate, but if I'm honest not sure if the frame does it any favours.

Ya know, my Missus gave me Hell for using that frame that sat in the attic for Lord knows how many years because she was just about to look for it
to put her dear old Mum's picture in from her 86th b-day........And now THIS!? :confounded:

Looks very good to me. Not to pile on, but that model Jagdpanzer IV might be more in tune with 'SLEEPLESS IN STAVELOT'. :smiling2: PaulE

Hi Jim, I'm catching up with everyone's work slowly and just seen your work here. Great work, I think you have captured the cold and darkness of the scene nicely. To me the frame looks like a German gas mask canister pattern.

Thanks Joe, getting picked apart on this one (as usual) I know I'm not the perfect historian and am reminded of it enough for sure.
Sorry to all, think I'll occupy myself with some real world tasks, Lord knows I've got plenty of them, at least until my mo-jo heals a bit. :sad-face:
