    Hi Ron
Horsey looks good. Leaving the mane and tail as is was the best call. Poor, plain brown horsey 2 is gonna feel quite inferior next to this colourful equine.

Old Nag, Dobbin! - A bit of respect, if you don't mind for an exceptional breed of horse.....Forget the painting of the plastic!

Great work on the Ap. One would think it a rare breed in that part of the world...Quite a favorite of our American Indians and lots of others here in Montana. Cheers, Rick H.

Rick, before hostilities began in France, Prof. Smarta**e taxi driver had shipped over a pair of Appaloosas from the States and had started a breeding program on his farm just outside Foucarville, which proved to be very successful...... so there. :tongue-out3:

What brilliant and humorous posts. Thanks guys!

To read my attempted paint job of an Appaloosa has somehow managed to pass muster with someone who lives with them (Rick) and the general comments from members, are all a great tonic to keep me plugging away at this build.
                          Thank you one and all.

                          Ron

Here's the final neddy for this build, and the third horse I've ever done. The harness's were a pain to paint, give me a cockpit canopy frame any day!
Trying to get a blend between the dark lower part of the legs and the upper brown was difficult. I've done my best.
Brush painted using Vallejo Model Air acrylics.

That's all the figures and horses finally done, so now I can concentrate on finishing off the vegetation.
I've also come up with some more add-ons, which I might incorporate into the model.

                            Cheers.

                              Hi Ron
Horsey looks good. Too hot to blend acrylics easily.

                                Thanks Jim.
Too hot to paint plastic, so I've moved into the relatively cool garage and done a bit of 'sperimenting.

                                Reeds and rushes.
                                Looking favourable....
