A’ noon John Well the tanks look great but don’t fancy your dinner much :tongue-out2: ....:smiling5:

Sounds like you’ve had fun playing with mud. I used John innes seed compost when I did my little T60 base. It has small stones and little pieces of fibrous matter....I oven baked mine though and served with cauliflower cheese and roast spuds :nerd::smiling5:

Thanks Rick, keep an eye out for those Birch trees tomorrow, I'll get the first coat of leaves on.:smiling2:

Si Like your good self I gave my self permission to use my MW to do the bake, but no veg :crying:. Oh mud, well there nothing like making up soil for dioramas, reminds me of people panning for gold the way the bowl is used.
Curry to night, I can assure you it will not look like that :smiling:

            Thanks Paul.
Think I may have over done some of the rust, but I can see that these oil brushers have a steep learning curve, but the results that Amig showed on his video were fantastic .

Nice to see your attention to detail with the earth colour. Hope you have fun today with the flora scattering.

I think these look suitable for an autumn look. I need to clean off the trunks on one or two , just to remove the odd scatter.

                    Meanwhile.Click image for larger version

The brown scatter above represents fallen leaves , the trees will go along the back and across to the right.

Thanks for looking in. Comment, abuse and what ever always welcome.

I did mean to say the rest of the diorama should be finished in the next couple of days, figures all done. ( well not to your standard :disappointed:, but passable at 2ft)

That's looking the bomb JR. The bark on the birch has calmed down nicely. Food for thought, you might want to introduce some yellow or ochra scatter as birch leaves tend to turn a vivid yellow before they drop. Trust me on this, I live in the land of many birch:rolling:.
                            Cheers, Rick H.

                              Hi John
It does indeed look very good. Trees will really set the whole dio off perfectly.
