    Cheers Peter...you can’t beat a “wallop!”
Thanks Scottie...there’s been a few attempts
Anyway, the heads done and hopefully I’ve managed a youthful and anxious expression as he’s supposed to be surrendering....the last pic is super zoomed so hopefully the flaws don’t show to the naked eye!
    Thanks
    Jason

        Thanks again Peter!
Sorry to sound slightly obsessive but having looked at the blow up pics I wasn’t happy with the right eye and as it kept bothering me I did it again...hopefully this is better.?

Yes, that works better Jason. Always worth trying to sort out the niggles.

My new figures have arrived in todays post so the final layout should be something like this...

              ...except obviously with heads!!

This should hopefully explain the anxious expression?

                Hi all,
I think I should probably rename this thread or start a new one as I seem to have moved on from the jeep... but I thought I’d just update progress on the surrendering young man!

Not much more to do on this figure although I did knock him over and he fell into my paint pallet (pringles lid!) and there’s a bit of a clean up going on as a result:..you can see the splodge of white on his shoulder...these things are sent to try us!,.

                Thanks

Just PM me with a title and I can move the whole thing and rename it for you. Diorama?

Superb painting of the camo Jason - spot-on colouring. The natural figure painter in you takes over!

                          Hi all
Sorry I’ve not had the chance to update on this but been mad busy!..Admittedly this isn’t strictly a modelling update but I felt it was worth posting anyway...
My wife is a massive Elvis fan and is approaching a “landmark” birthday ( I couldn’t possibly say which!) and so as a birthday treat I have taken her to Memphis and Graceland in particular...even as someone who isn’t a massive fan I have to say that I was delighted to discover Elvis’ Wiilys Jeep in his car collection...I may have to have a crack at doing a version of this once I get home!!!!
                          Thanks

Jason, please just don't paint over the O.D. green one you just finished! LOL :smiling5:

Thanks Rick...I won’t ...although I think that shade of pint would cover just about anything!

Oh dear, how to ruin a perfectly good Jeep :sad-face:

                                That is truly hideous
