What a waste of beer! Go and sit on the naughty step and think about what you've done! :tongue-out:

Just wondering 570, JR was so proud of your burnt timbers, I'm wondering if he had a hand in this imaginary conflagration?

...453 was there in spirit Rick. Pardon the pun!

Now the Tiger in my Kelly's Heroes is no longer required, I will use it as the wrecked tank for this model.

Here it is in it's original 'Spare Tank' form.

Hacked about, snapped off and bent with a pair of pliers and the two hits done with a hot screwdriver. Straight through with one and just touched the plastic with the other.

I've tried for a two shot wreck. The lower hit was an H.E. shell which didn't penetrate, but wrecked the running gear and tracks.
The upper, armour piercing one did and caused massive internal damage.

Early days yet, but I've laid the foundations.

        Cheers all.

                  Ron,
Looks just like the real thing, and to be critical, your best yet.
Even the bricks line up on the corner, something manufacturers forget.
                  Mike.

Steven, Mike and Andrew. Thank you for your positive comments. Such posts as yours keep me going.... :thumb2:

I've made a start on the rubble. Just tipped onto the base from a dizzy height to land and heap up where it chooses. Also, I tried a 'Loose fit' with the tank. I've purposely sunk one side in a bit to make the pose a bit more interesting.

Early days, but I'm finally getting some more ideas and inspiration :upside: as to how I would like the model to look on completion.

                      Cheers.

                        Hi Ron
Superb stuff as always. Shell damage looks just right to me.
