      Great work there, I doubt if I would have the patience, let alone the skill to do that. I like the use of coffee stirrers, never thought of them before and they might be something to make decking for an artic trailer build I have in mind for a future project.

            Sorry for the late response boys, I've been away over the w/end freezing my bo****ks off in the camper!....Well, nice and cozy actually!

            ....and this morning I've had a tooth ripped out - And had to pay for the pleasure too!

            Anyway, thanks for all the great posts. Every one of them much appreciated.... :thumb2:

            453 - My pleasure. Usual fee in a plain brown envelope, if you please.

            Andy - I prefer the stirrers over balsa. To my eye, the grain in balsa is too 'heavy' used in 1/35 and under. Whereas the stirrer grain is much more dense. Each to their own, though.

            O.K., I've finally finished this build.
            Thank you to those who posted during the making of it. They made for very pleasant reading and kept the buzz going!
