Thanks for that, and i totally agree with you......Green it is.
I`ll scrap the Miniart guides,(Even the 3 boxes i`m using at the moment differ over numbers!),and go with the books i have instead.....
......Thanks again mate,

Andy - looking at that box chart it is rather mucked up. There are loads of online paint conversion charts but even they can't agree with each other for example with XF-52 and XF-72 and what they should correspond to in vallejo
Going with the books seems like a better optionComment

Well its all happening here Smiffy!. Hope things are sorted with the ammo box and figures. Looking forward to seeing how they all turn out.Comment

Hi Chaps,it`s Uniform update time!
Steve,thanks mate...... it`s all going.......well,going forwards shall we say!!:confounded:
Graeme,Cheers Bud,yes,maybe TOO MUCH!!!:dizzy:
Ok then,i sorted out the Basic Uniform colours and the Drivers were re done in VJ "Olive Drab" 887.
I`m at the point where i`m just going to titivate the clothing a little, add some P.E. to the Officers, and concentrate on the hands and faces, but i`m certainly no figure painter,so it really will be "Good enough for me" results.
But with everything else going on in the Dio you never know...........
................ I might just get away with it:flushed::smiling5:...........
Tyre Guy there, followed by leaning Chap........
Final driver is...... "Prancing guy"........
Last up,the 2 officers,(Who are going to be discussing a map) in their Fancy Dan jackets........
So there you have it so far,the pics are "Warts and all",which is a good thing as it helps me spot problem areas......although it does make them appear rather less acceptable than they are in real life!
Thanks for looking in Guys,Take care all,

Great work on the figures Andy. The Olive drab for the US uniforms is correct - any variations were caused by fading over time.Comment

Fine model work. Am familiar w/US bumper markings. The ones on either side of the yellow bridge cat. square (1945 option) still escape me. Can't find anything close in any of my ref. material. Have never seen stars on top of fenders either. Your model, just wondered on ref. for these as they are new to me. PaulEComment

I found my ''airfix'' version of this, and the instructions show those decals as ''wc-63 version''Attached FilesComment
