      Good evening Mr R,
Lovely bit of pipe fitting John, great job on the flanges in particular....hope you didn’t forget the gaskets and you’ve nipped your bolts evenly, don’t want any leaks do we .

I like the fire damage ....this is coming along very nicely :nerd:

Thanks Paul, some things just come to me as I build, certainly not planned. Realised the pipe work needed some detail, didn't have time to buy some washers so hence the hand made parts.

Ha:smiling3::smiling3::nerd: as you are well aware the bolts needed to be evenly tightened, with gaskets and plumbers mate used !
Thanks all, means a lot to have such kind comments from some great modelers.

                        Good evening from Race Towers.

Been a good day finishing the major assembly, still a lot to do , those little things that catch the eye. With out more ado.

Started by gluing the supports at the back.

Little more to do on the pipe and of course the edge of the brickwork to the base.

Drinking straws have been used for smaller pipes and those flexible parts are perfect for corner joints. Will be weathered tomorrow.

Doors on, black backing had already been fitted, bottom of doors need a little touching up.

The flange will need a little attention, I cleaned up the paint work using 800 grit wet and dry on the pipe.

Comments welcome, thanks for staying with this.

                        John.

This is great stuff John. Colouration is spot on and attention to detail is first rate.
