Steady on Steve, I think I'm a long way from that, but thanks very much :smiling4:

Ironically, the medic is my first victim.
I tried to vary the camo colours and pattern a little between various items of clothing and equipment, but at a normal viewing distance, and in the blurry pictures, it's not really noticeable.

Thanks Paul & Andrew.
He'll probably be the best of the bunch as I'm likely to get bored part way through and rush the others :smiling5:
I still have the decals to add too, including tiny ones for the medic pouches, but I'll probably do all of the figures in one go.Comment

Cheers Andy.
I've avoided them for long enough too, so I just set my sights really low and cracked on :smiling5:
The casualty is nearly done now, I just want to lighten his skin tone a bit to make him look "poorly", and the driver is well on his way too.Comment

Thanks Pete and John.
I'll try my best not to rush, but the 2 new kits that arrived yesterday are already calling me to start them.
I don't know how those of you with a stash can resist the temptation to start everything!Comment

I took a tip from my lad (and I seem to remember Tim Marlow mentioning something similar in the past) and did the rest more as a batch. First camo on them all, then all the boots, then straps, etc.etc. It seemed to go much better that way, so they are all pretty much done. Just awaiting decals, then maybe a few touch ups.

So while they are drying I made a start on the base. Nothing fancy, just a few layers of cardboard (supplied free with every order from John :smiling5: ) PVA'd together within the frame, and topped off with a grout / sand mix to firm things up. I have some different coloured gravel left over from a previous dio, which should top this off nicely once dry.
