Dear all here is today's update on the air group for the carrier...l will let you know were we are for the moment...we are hours after the battle around 1330 local time the carrier is in recovery phase the fire has been put out; 2 of the 9 boilers are out and there is massive leak of oil in the ocean. Planes are coming back so on page 29/30 of the after action report "Battle of Coral Sea" you can see the planes ready for action may the 8th 3rd picture....then 4th and 5th pictures planes coming back from the battle...
The number of the planes on deck or hangar will be
10 SBD-3 Dauntless squadron VB-5
5 SBD-3Dauntless squadron VS-5
7 F4F-3 Wildcat squadron VF-42
8 TBD-1Devastator squadron VT-5
And here look at the update we are at 10 Wildcats and 8 Dauntless and 2 super deluxe detailled...enjoy
