Surprised you made time for the bench at all, given the beautiful sunshine we’ve had!
Is that bacon ready yet:thinking:
Si, it was really beautiful today, had a cup of tea by the pond after I'd cleaned the downstairs window's. Only managed about 30 mins at the bench, and that was this evening !
Looking good John. Love the firewood especially, the colour is spot on!
Thanks Tim, just sliced balsa , thought it did have a strong grain. I was going to add some colour but reading what you wrote think I'll leave it .:thumb2:

It won’t shock you if I told you I was in just my shorts yesterday while pottering around the garden! South facing we got up to about 15c. Got loads done and even mowed the grass!!
Roll on spring :smiling4::smiling4::smiling4::smiling4:
If I tried to cut my grass the mower would sink into the clay! Built some raised beds with reclaimed sleepers from a local narrow gauge railway though. Expecting three tons of soil this week to fill them :loudly-crying:

Letting the air clear from the above . Nice one Tim !
I've been into the bunker most of the day, seems to take so long just applying paint to the smallest detail, still enjoyable.
One welcome disruption was the sight of the BBMF Dakota as it made its way to Capt Tom's Funeral. Very lucky here as we often get a glimpse of planes of the flight as they go and return from various duties. Flew around the town twice before banking over and heading off, must say it was more moving than normal.
Today saw the mentioned earlier surgery, thanks to Neil for explaining this method some time back.

Cut and drilled with a .6mm bit.

Arm then ca'd and fitted to torso, looking at it now I suppose I could have twisted the lower section round a bit more. Tomorrow I think some debonda !
All the figures now have hears attached that needed them, first skin tones done. Going to leave everything until tomorrow now to fully dry.
Also cut some fire wood .

Meanwhile in the pond the fish have been asking for food, very early but with it being so sunny and much warmer I was not surprised.
