Vignette 28 cm spzb41 AT gun and crew

this is by far the smallest piece of artillery that I’ve ever tried PE on..but giving it a go

Your right there Joe, small indeed and by the looks of it some of the PE s micro.
I shall sit as near as possible so I can see !

Ooooh, it’s the gun out of the Airfix German soldiers pack from when I was a nipper......
Its a nice kit as I remember. I built one as part of a Dragon Skdfz 250/11 when I first got back into modelling. Looks like you’re cracking on well Joe.

        Hi Joe
It's either gonna give you eye strain Is that cutting mat marked in cms or inches? Looks as if you're off to a good start anyway.

Nice work Joe. Well worth the hassle with the PE. Hope it all holds together during the painting process

John, welcome to sit up front as close as possible, I may need to wear double magnifiers to see the rest of the PE.. it is pretty micro

Tim if you have some pics, I’d love to see them of the gun on the 250

Jim I think I am well beyond eye strain at the moment...lol... may need to ask for an emergency appointment after this one to see the eye doc, ya know I never really paid attention to that cutting mat..lol will have to check on that per that question.

Steve, crossing my fingers that it all stays together even before painting

Looking mighty fine Joe. Done a couple in 1/87, very unusual piece. PaulE

Ok, I’ll dig out what I’ve got later on. I might have shots of the gun as well, I remember one in the Pegasus bridge museum in Normandy.

Some pics I've used for ref. Ammo was scarce, but seems to have been mounted on almost anything. There are UTube videos too. PaulE

But didn't they (Airfix) have a seated soldier for it?

He was like the guy in the picture above, except his legs were either side of the trail.
