Joe, that's a mighty big pea shooter with bling. Not very often scene in war doc videos. Wondered if they were ever used in the Bocage ambushes by Fallschirmjagers units. I'm guessing you'll be posing your vignette in the Eastern front.

        Cheers,
        Richard

Hi Joe, looking at the gun, it reminds me of a Boys anti-tank gun or the Russian anti-tank guns but a larger calibre. Wondered how thick an amour platting it can penetrate. Could it stop a T-34 or at least a BT-1?

            Cheers,
            Richard

60mm sloped at 30 degrees, so couldn't penetrate T34 turrets, but everywhere else at a few hundred yards. Shermans were safe from the front and not so much anywhere else. A good three man crew could get 30rnds/minute out unmolested. Didn't do much damage to the tank once inside but had to illicit some evacuations. PaulE

Interesting piece and it looks like an exceptionally fiddly kit. I bet the real thing was good fun to fire though!

Update on the figures... tried something different this time using a wet palette. I think it help me blend the folds in the uniforms better this way.
