Glenn, this is perfect for the thread thats ongoing at the moment http://www.scale-models.co.uk/group-builds/14314-unofficial-kids-toy-remodelling-build-thread.html . This was started by andrew for a bit of fun to see if a childs toy can be made into something rather better - your 727 fits the bill ! cheers tony

Very impressive. The realism of the damaged tank is remarkable. I am looking forward to seeing it all complete.Comment

Excellent battle damage on the T-59 Glenn, and a great diorama in the making.
Only trouble is, your 'Mutt' has stolen the show a bit!!
Cheers,

Very interesting stuff Glenn.
I tried to make some 'Proper' 1/35 barbed wire for my 'Omaha Beach' dio. that I did on here, but I could never get the barbs small enough. So I just resorted to minute blobs of glue....once painted and rusted it came out alright though.
I have seen black cotton used to make it too.
I don't think I would have the patience to attempt your excellent method!

Dude seriously! That is the biggest bloody ruler I have ever seen!!!
That is some seriously great barb wire you have spun up there! I bet you could sell miles of the stuff. Its much better than the stuff you can buy!!!

Not a bad idea It's take's about 2.5 hour's to make a foot, my first run was 4.0 feet and it makes about thirty scale feet. in 1/35 I'm sure the more I make the faster I'll get. I also made some four tine barb wire as well, what do you think the market would be willing to pay for custom barbe wire. regards Glenn
