Isn't too difficult - if you feed the cotton round the axle first, then out through the track, you can tie off on the outside & hide either under the track, or with weathering.

It's a great idea Paul, but I would find it near impossible without Christine's help. I do ask her for help at times and she is great, perhaps I should ask here in future to do the tying.

Update. Large slabbed area nearly finished being pressure washed , more seeds sown, so soon back to the bench :nerd:

Sudden return of cooler and dull skies has enabled me to return to the cave.
Not much done really, some copper handles made and fitted, and that mesh intake cover that managed to escape found making its way out of the door. Now glued for the third time !



Hope tomorrow I can get some more done.
