John I was going to start planting here but we got a cold spell this week. I guess I’ll start some seeds in the house. Updates look good

I've got to get the lawn mower out, fork over the garden at some point in the near future, and see how many onions have survived the winter (at the moment they're under a sheet of polythene to protect from frost).
      Coming along nicely.

Up until a week ago everything here was under a "blanket" of snow :rolling: .....I suspect JR is still out mucking around in the garden......I'll drop in later. Rick H.

Hi Gerry , we've done the front lawn , not very big , on a hight cut .
Do you let any onion flower, and seed ?
They as a great way of growing on the follow year from the bulblets the flower head produces.

Looking good Dzohn. Always thought they stole the turret from some floaty project. PaulE

First time of onions for me - usually grow taters, beetroot, runner beans and rocket (plus flowers) - carrots and parsnips don't seem to do well at all here, last time we tried brassicas the butterflies loved them!

Know what you mean Paul, sort of looks like an uprooted pillbox that got dropped on a tank!

                          Hi John
Maybe not a lot to show but these details take up more time than you imagine. Glad you found the mesh :thumb2: The monster is looking good.

That's very true Paul, At first the design teams attempted to use a revived the T-100 hull and mounted a B-13 130 mm (5.12 in) navel designating it the SU -100Y. This version was halted as there was a shortage of of barrels and naval semi-armor piercing rounds, at a time when the Soviet Navy was beginning a massive expansion in order to create a more powerful, ocean-going fleet.

Thanks Jim, the handles did take time as I did them by hand, the jig that I thought would be the way produced a handle with a twist in the length. Apparently I should have heated up the wire first.

Now seem to find other jobs to do as last time I cleaned the model , washing in soapy water, and Isopol it still had grease marks. Must really just get on with it.:crying:
