Well it turned out that invoking model deities help only a little over spray here and there
The bags look alright and won't stay pristine for long...
      Now for the other side

Sandbags almost done A bit of OPR on the turret -not terribly good at this but getting great inspiration from great artists such as Rinaldi and other proponents of this technique
Tracks recieving different shades of pigments after being burnished
All for now next update I hope to show the beast with tracks mounted and ,gods willing , the impro side armor - see ya

A big Wow, Steven. Just had a re read through. Your certainly pushing the boundaries on this for detail. The whole build is stunning .I've ever heard of the Committee awarding a double Dogs before but can see this happening !!!
          Nice .

            Cheers mates
Alas still no tracks on this beast but I am testing putting slogans on the impro side armor
I used a plotter to cut some stencils - it is a very cheap one and at the smallest setting result is somewhat bulky I will continue to fiddle with this but am on the fence whether to add this on the model - feel free to weigh in on this
Btw text reads "victory for Assad" and "victory"

              Coming on nicely Steven.

I do have one request, in the future could you upload pictures as full size and not thumbnails/attachments, it makes them easier to view (especially on phones) and I know one member can't view them at all.

              Keep up the great work

              Thanks.

              Andrew

Nowhere near finished but a benchmark reached: tracks are on
axels broke on both idler and drive sprocket on the same side hence the slight slack on th RH side

                        Thanks Gents
I am struggling to get any benchtime (we have two young children...) but have managed to mount the Impro stand off - armor. Ref pics shows that the space between the plates would be filled with just about anything believed to offer protection: Tiles, stone facedes marble tabletops, pavement etc.
I am also posting some trial pics of the loading of the ammo on the engine deck with the two geezers taking a break a(nd a selfie) from feeding The carrousel of the autoloader.
                        Happy New Year to all

I have to say that is simply stunning!
I'm not a tankie so I wouldn't dream of criticizing in any way, but the detail you've crammed into it and the setting is outstanding .
Love the idea with the figures as well - are they scratchbuilt or off the peg ?
                          Superb job all round!

Figures are stock - I cannot remember if it is evolution or paracel. One is actually flipping the bird to the Camara and that particular finger broke in transport so first order of business is to make one :smiling4:

Stuff to fill the stand - off armor:
souced from the surrounding urban environment, so I have included thin cement slabs, some decorated pieces, and some marble tiles most likely pulled form walls, gardens etc.
