Sonderkommando 'Elbe' in the skies over Germany. 7th April 1945.
The bl***y address took so long to type, I've forgotten what you wanted.....Oh, yes!
Dear Sir or ?,
Thank you for your enquiry.
I can confirm that you are all in, not a group, but The 'A' Team. Matron will be able to show you lovely pictures of the gentlemen concerned.
Just turn your head (I presume you are unable to move much and I hope the straps aren't too tight) and you will be able to see, and inform Rick and Lee (Beds 8 and 10 respectively)
that being illustrious members of said 'Team', you can all be able to make a full sized Abrams tank from Baked Bean tins and empty plastic bottles in 5 minutes flat. Yes, I've seen them do it on T.V., so it has to be true!
Just a bit of inside info. for you.
Due to cutbacks, you three have been chosen to try out a new wonder needle that can be used on up to three people at a time. This will be administered by one Idu Chukumupp, who has retired from the building game and taken up Professional Darts, so he is the obvious choice for the task.
Should he and Matron appear on your ward, carrying what looks like a very long, thin and pointed vaulting pole, I suggest you all hide under your beds - Oh, you can't, can you? such a shame.
Keep smiling, there's good chaps.
Hannibal Smith / Mr. 'T' / Faceman / Howlin' Mad Murdock.
All in a black van.
Somewhere.
U.S.A.
And who pray tell, volunteered me for this "Misery"?........Thanks a lot JR, now I have to go off and find me armour plated "knickers" so's I can keep Matron's needle away from the soft tender parts of my anatomy!
Looking good so far 570.....did Idu learn his dart skills while wiping tables at the Clacker........or was it acquired while chucking spears with the Zulus at Rourke's Drift back in 1878? Rick H.
Rick I'm blaming you .
" I'll bite.......found a seat near JR and the good Mr. Drennen. Oh, and Gerry.....570 dont' build, he "Knackers" first then builds from what's left over!!......and over....and over. Great fun to watch and Frustrates the Hell out of Matron. Rick H. "
Think its best if you dish out some of that stash of kit you have so we can make a stand.:smiling2:
Ok, so I wanted to sit with my friends and watch the build and next thing I'm strapped into a bed with you and the Good Mr. Drennen and 570's going on about needles and such and what's this got to do with......and where did the needle come from........OUCH!! Why Hello Nurse Lovelace.......is it true , you only drink beer from a long necked bottle? ...........to be continued......(I'm sure) Rick H. :tongue-out3:
Thanks Mucker.
The camo. has been a right pain to try and get summat like the 'Real thing'. I've given it my best shot, but I can see where it needs tweaking a bit.
But to be honest, I'm not that bothered. The fun will hopefully be in the demolition, and yes indeed, Justine's chucking ability. Better get her to practice!
Thanks for your positive input on the model's progress.
570....only you have a complete aray af fully functional and flying models of WW2 aircraft with female flight crew included, for full operations, all the while standing by to prepare meals and sundry other services etc. etc...AMAZING!!!:tongue-out3::tongue-out2::tongue-out: Rick H.
The plane's looking good, must admit to looking forward to seeing the wrecking getting done - never tried anything like that myself (well, not for display purposes though have used models for target practice though)

At this point I'm saying nothing ! You've got us into trouble before Rick . :smiling3:
453. To my eternal shame, I've forgotten to mention the latest member to the, shall I call it, 'The Crazy Gang'?...Our very own, Mr. Gerry.
I have found out he is in the assessment centre, which luckily is next to your high security ward.
Can you do me a favour? I know you 'residents' have a morse code system by banging on the pipes. Can you message Gerry to inform him of the good news?
I realise you can't move much, but can you use morse by head butting the wall? Much obliged.
Thank you for your co-operation and by way of a thank you, I'll arrange for an extra flake in your 99!
570.
Update.
The brushed on colour scheme was difficult, but it looks o.k. and from 20,000 ft. and in bits, it should pass muster!
Decals added. Luckily, I had some spare, so just like my close attempt at the real camouflage scheme, I've managed the same with the decals(Sort of/kind'a)
All near enough for me.
Here is the fighter on it's way to impact.......
I'll tidy things up after I've 'demolized' the aircraft....If that makes sense!:upside:
Cheers,
Ron
