Today I spent the whole time keeping house on my laptop but managed to punch some dried leaves. With so much greenery around there ought to be a lot of old leaves scattered on the jungly floor or on the road...
Punched this bunch from what else but dried leaves collected just outside the house. Earlier I tried punching brown paper but it didn't have the same effect as real dried leaves.
What I'm missing is the fern punch.

Paint detailing monkeys today and only managed two. The difference in sculpt finishes determines the amount of time and also degree of the finished look and I'd veer towards a better sculpt if I want an easier task. My skills in sculpting still needs a huge amount of learning and only wished I had spent more time to smoothen the putty. Anyway here are the two near completion ...
The mummy and her baby...
And...
Holding onto a vine and about to grab another...
I will drill his mouth to take a branch holding two fruit...ammunition for the ambush.
The others are waiting in the wings and I hope the comb of bananas I gave them holds out or it'll be mayhem.

Thanks Scottie.
Thank you Mick.
Ammunition waiting for leaves and paint...
Basically wire inserted into pre drilled putty and twisted. Will coat the wire stems with Uhu before painting.

Slow progress...Zsa Zsa didn't make it, had to euthanise her yesterday because she was deteriorating with organs failing after a blood test. Made sure we were all present and telling her how good a cat she was. Our first and oldest cat...no fuss except with old age had forgotten the litter bin a few times. Will miss her even with the other 24 running around.
