Doing a background, or looking at how Ron does it, by clever angles and natural light?

I will take it outside for some pics when complete. But it's quite big to do a stand-alone picture backdrop. I just placed the cardboard box there to show up the branches for now

Yes, I tried the 'outside' photos, but they didn't really work for me - couldn't get the angles without something in the background (gone now, so no chance of trying again)

BTW adt70hk and JR . I've sent a message to WWS regarding their seafoam. I do like using their products so i gave the information to them more as a sort of 'feedback' rather than a complaint. If they do read it and take note then it can surely only benefit other modellers and myself in the future. And at the end of the day. That is a positive thing.

I'll be surprised If the don't Alan . I've felt with them many times and found them more than helpful .They don't come over as in for the money only.

Hope you get a good response Alan.

I think I've bought something from them in the past and had no issues.

The diorama is coming on beautifully by the way.

                Keep up the great work.

                Andrew

                  Just a quick update.

After the communication with WWS via evilbay i have been given a response.

I messaged them more as feedback about the seafoam rather than a complaint as i have used quite a bit of the seafoam they sent but, as you saw by the picture, there was some that was un-usable. I just wanted to highlight the issue to them rather than seek compensation so that maybe they could try and stop this happening in the future.
But to their credit they offered me a partial refund or some more seafoam in compensation. Personally i think the way they (Marie in particular) have dealt with me shows just how professional and dedicated towards their customers they are. I've used a few of their products now and can honestly say i am impressed. I shall defo order from them in the future too.

                    Hi Alan
You've put a lot of work into this and it has really paid off. It looks very good indeed. You should definitely be happy to have pulled off something that is difficult to do well - trees.
Good for WWS. I have always been happy with their service.
                    Jim

Hedge work FINALLY done! Had to re-do some of it as the glue didn't hold the leaves on. So had to use neat PVA.

Quite happy with how it's turned out. Just waiting to get some spray adhesive for the tree foliage. I don't want to get that wrong. To much time invested in them. Then it'll be onto some armour and figures for it

Very nice indeed Alan , spray adhesive is the best answer to fixing leaves, I also give a final spray at the end with some hair spray .

Glad to read you had a favouritably answer from WWS .

That looks fabulous Alan. You have really nailed a difficult part of the model makers art. You’ll be planning the next one soon…..and I for one can’t wait :thumb2:
