Looking excellent as usual, might be the dark pics but I personally think it needs a bit of pointing work on the arch, It just stood out to me. Or was that the detailing you mention? ( I should read things properly lol)

Late in Paul, but I've been watching all along. Whenever I want to comment, the post is gone and I'm lousy at searching for it my friend. Sucks to be old, but you seem to have a thing for this blue foam stuff and always make something phenomenal out of it. Your woodworking skills are also to be appreciated. JR giving you lessons??? This is going to be just GREAT!!!!!

              Hi Scottie
Name on the gates looks good. Distressed render has worked very well especially around the window - that third photo is ultra realistic.

Cheers mate, I am trying to get the look of a building that is neglected but not derelict.

Cheers Allen, I do like this blue foam and enjoy trying things, as tp the woodwork I have picked up some good tips from the old timer

A little bit more done. The down pipe is made from ally tube and the gutter from pewter as are the fittings. This was then sprayed grey black and rusted with standard rust pigments.

I have also started remaking the base/street as I wasn't happy with the cobbles. I will post a picture later.

                  cheers

The individual items are now secured in place. Now the fun bit of weathering and blending all together.

Please don't be so brilliant at this modelling malarky.... It's giving me an inferiority complex!!! :tired:

In all seriousness, I really am struggling to find anything wrong at all with the base. Stunning, simply stunning.

                          Terrific stuff Paul.
It's little things like rust down the render where the gutter joint has started to leak that proves (if proof was required) that you are one observant chap.

...and it shows in your models.

Super work, has just the right amount of neglect and weathering :thumb2::thumb2::thumb2::thumb2::thumb2:

                              Hi Scottie
It already looks really good, very realistic. A touch more weathering and it will be perfect.
