Hi all
So, in my element again, braille dios based on photographs...... and it took me days of reseach to pin this location, IWM war correspondent photoghaphic units etc. 11th Armds drive into the Rhineland....

Then i got these.....

At first thought it was a QLD going the other way, so i got IBGs kit, but Malcolm Shaw pointed out it's a CMP C60L no.13 cab ....... so i got the IBG CMP C60S kit which ill convert to C60L..... S = short 134" w/base L = long 158" w/base.... i digress.... ignore the wingy things lol

I have found an oval base frame, i do prefer rounded bases as theres3no 'set front aspect' to the viewer...
Ive started the A34, and in another thread on here, sourcing some good figs and a pile of jerrycans for the CMP load.
Imma lil rusty as not built a dio in 3yrs now, but i loves the whole process...

Had a root about the loft, oval base a insulation foam (celatex) a dusty chopping and shaping up, test fit of A34 and a solid resin Humber for sizing up.....

Jim, I've been playing about with the composition thing, and for me to achieve my idea and fit all three vehicles on i found a base a bit larger,
This aize will give ample space to fit truck, and possibly, the photographer

Okies 3rd cast member, a CMP C60L GS, no.13 cab, steel body 3 tonner mid/late production....
I bought IBGs CMP C60S, no.11 cab GS 3 tonner, early/mid production...:thinking: C60S = short 134" W/B.... C60L = long 156" W/B.... okay IBG give you both no.11&13 cabs, cool, i have to extend chassis, drivetrain, and by the looks fabricate a new steel GS lwb body.....
Got these, used C15A instructions to build no.13 cab....


Will paint up internals, while awaiting figs etc.
